BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Pinnacle may have marked a home run when it landed at the Cajun-style Walk On’s Sports Bistreaux restaurant and sports bar in its shopping and dining center.
Johnson Commercial Development recently announced that Walk-On’s Restaurant will open in fall 2022 at 226 Steven’s Trail. According to a statement from Johnson Commercial Development, the restaurant is looking to add 200 employees to its Bristol location.
“We are thrilled to bring the winning Walk-On culture to the region,” said Jason Gisclair, a Walk-On franchisee and president of DBMC Restaurants, LLC. “We look forward to establishing ourselves as the restaurant of choice for any occasion, whether it’s a big game, a family reunion or a drink with friends. “
The 7,500 square foot restaurant will be located in the Pinnacle Lifestyle Center. The release says the “family and game day atmosphere” will feature 70 televisions as well as Cajun food and local beers.
The restaurant offers specialties made from scratch like VooDoo shrimp and oatmeal, crayfish stew, a stock burger, and Krispy Kreme Donut bread pudding, among others.
The channel was started by two Louisiana State University basketball players, Brandon Landry and Jack Warner, in 2003. In 2015, NFL All-Pro quarterback Drew Brees became part-owner of the Walk- channel. We. The Pinnacle location will be the third location on the Tennessee Walk-On along with other sprawling locations in the Southeast.
