The Browns announced earlier Thursday that they had temporarily closed their facility for the second day in a row after another player tested positive for COVID-19. They have now announced that they have placed defensive end Porter Gustin on the reserve / COVID-19 list.
The Browns have had a positive player test for three consecutive days.
Defensive end Joe Jackson entered the COVID-19 reserve list on Tuesday, and the Browns placed linebacker Sione Takitaki there on Wednesday.
The Browns currently have five players – Gustin, Jackson, Takitaki, defensive end Myles Garrett and full-back Andy Janovich – on the COVID-19 reserve list.
They activated offensive lineman Chris Hubbard from the COVID-19 list earlier today.
