The village of Fredonia will be collecting limbs and garden waste from Monday at 7 a.m. The collection will continue until every street in the village is completed. Bags and brushes are collected separately by different teams.

All items to be picked up must be curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. Monday. Under no circumstances will there be a repeat of the collection of the completed areas.

All yard waste should be bagged or in drums. The village encourages residents to use biodegradable bags or barrels with all limbs and brush tied with string.

Limbs and brush should be cut to a maximum length of 4 feet and bundles should not exceed 18 inches in diameter. Packages and bags are limited to 65 pounds. There is no bulk material collection. No loose leaf will be picked up.

Residents are reminded that they can bring their yard waste to 176 Eagle Street. No bag or container should be left on site.
