On November 29 local time, Billboard officially announced that BTS’s new album “BE” debuted at number 1 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States.
BTS are now the first group to land two different albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2020 – and only the second artist overall (after American rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again).
Additionally, as “BE” is BTS ‘fifth album to enter the No. 1 chart, the group is now the first Korean artist – and so far, the only one – to top the Billboard 200 with five. different albums.
