Plovdiv. 8 cases of tick bites were recorded in the Plovdiv area last week, half of them in the city. This was reported by FOCUS Radio – Plovdiv of the Regional Health Inspection. During the previous reporting period, there were no ticks bitten for medical care. To date, a case of Lyme disease and listeriosis has been reported, according to data from the Regional Health Inspectorate. Specialists recommend a bite for medical help, as there is a high probability of life-threatening complications
During the past week, the Regional Health Inspectorate reported a decrease in the number of cases of scarlet fever, chickenpox, intestinal infections and viral hepatitis
