Sofia. More than 4,000 citizens visited the National Assembly on the occasion of the Open House. The smallest visitor was 6 months old and the oldest was 86 years old. All visitors had the opportunity to shoot the chair and hit the parliamentary bell, as well as to feel the spirit of legislating. The occasion was the anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria by the Seventh Great National Assembly. In the north hall of the National Assembly, an exhibition was opened in which the original of the new Bulgarian Constitution was exposed. Throughout the day, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Tsveta Karaiancheva, welcomed the guests into the plenary hall, including many young people. She answered their questions about the work of Parliament and the issues they were concerned about. Karayancheva welcomed the students from Sofia schools and told them that she was very excited about their visit. "I hope you're excited because this building has a lot of history, but it has a lot of future."
