The German citizen who participated in the accident of Trakia Motorway, who killed 4 people, remains in detention

Plovdiv. The Plovdiv Court of Appeal dismisses the complaint of the German citizen with the initials J. K. against his provisional detention in pre-trial detention by the District Court and confirmed his continued detention. This was announced by the press center of Court of Justice – Plovdiv .
On July 1, JK ruled the Volkswagen Transporter, which fell on a Mercedes-Benz truck trailer and knocked over. The two-year-old son, the mother-in-law and the two sisters of his wife died in the accident.
The court accepted this from the testimony of the witnesses and the inspection of the crime scene, JK for reasons unknown for the moment, entered his vehicle in the emergency band of the highway and there is a reasonable suspicion that he is involved in the crime, namely the death of four people in the negligence of his life
Magistrates of Appeal believe that in the case of a lighter mark, the accused may be absent because he has no address in Bulgaria.
The charge against J. K. is for an offense under s. 343, para. 3 pt 5, b. B, first 1 with para. 1, b. In accordance with art. 342, para. 1, Article 3 of the Penal Code, punishable by deprivation of liberty from 3 to 15.
The definition of the court is final.
According to the art. Article 16 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is considered innocent until the contrary has been established with a final judgment.
