Blagoevgrad. A tourist was struck by lightning on the trail of Orelyak Peak in Pirin. Mountain rescuers have taken steps to reach him and take his body off the mountain. The man was struck by lightning during a storm while his body was charred. The man is a Bulgarian and has been with a group of tourists.
On July 27, Blagoevgrad mountain rescuers also helped a wounded tourist in the Mechi Vrah region of Rila.
