The Chelsea football team opened SEC White’s Friday night game against Jackson and showed the Bulldogs are still the team to beat in the conference in a 41-7 Vikings rout.
The Bulldogs straddled Trent Hill’s legs again as Hill scored four times on the night to give him 12 touchdowns in three games this season.
Hill put the Bulldogs on top 7-0 with a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
That would stay that way until the second Dylon Reeves recovered a fumble at Chelsea 28 to stop a drive from Jackson.
Hill escaped for free for a 45-yard run, then finished with a five-yard touchdown run to make it 14-0.
After a defensive save, Lucas Dunn hit Nick Fisk with a 15-yard touchdown pass to take Chelsea’s lead to 20-0.
Carson Gray then unleashed a pass to give the Bulldogs a great field position and Hill crossed a yard for his third score of the night to give Chelsea a 27-0 halftime lead.
Hill would end his huge night by hitting him in front of a yard in the third to make him 34-0 Bulldogs.
Lucas Dawson connected with Hunter Sciackitano for a 35-yard pass to bring the score to 41-0. Jackson would add a late score to make the final 41-7.
The win was SEC White’s 16th straight win for the Bulldogs who have improved to 3-0 overall this season. They will travel to Pinckney on Friday night in a key clash between the Whites, who many consider the Whites’ top two teams.
