DETROIT – Concerns about fake COVID-19 vaccination cards are increasing as some cities, universities and events require proof of your vaccination status or a negative COVID test.
The FBI is issuing a warning to people trying to buy or sell fake cards, reminding people that it is illegal and puts public health at risk.

Investigators have already removed lists of fake cards online and the FBI has released a statement.
Recently, two passengers on a flight to Toronto were arrested trying to present false cards. Each person was fined $ 16,000 and could face legal repercussions.
