Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes create avant-garde Cinderella and Prince Charming

The fairy godmother worked her magic on Camila Cabello, and she showed up to the prom (or rather the premiere of her latest film) in a new take on a princess dress.

Camila was accompanied by her prince charming (this would be her longtime boyfriend Shawn mendes, obvs) at the Miami premiere of Cinderella Wednesday September 1. Although they look like real members of the royal family, the couple did not come in royal costumes, nor in traditional tuxedos and dresses.

Stylists Rob zagardi and Mariel Haenn dressed Camila in a Christian Siriano ensemble with a relaxed white cropped top and a ruffled tulle skirt that could have been pulled straight from Belle’s closet. The Fifth Harmony alum completed the summer outfit with a golden eye shadow and a flirty bob ‘do.

Shawn was equally on trend in a black mesh long sleeve with a deep V-neck, loose cream pants and a chain necklace. Your move, Harry Styles.

Shawnmila celebrated her second birthday in July when the “Stitches” singer posted a photo of them sharing a kiss in the Caribbean and called her “my baby”.

At the premiere, their affection was in the spotlight as they held hands and gazed into each other’s eyes on the red carpet. Fans also spotted the couple in a golf cart, holding up peace signs for the camera.

“It’s not every day that you become Cinder-fricking-rella,” she wrote on Instagram this week. “So proud of this movie.”

It was such a whirlwind experience that she actually passed out at another premiere event on August 30, telling the crowd at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, “I just passed out, and now I’m back and I’m ready to read my notes. ” Camila went on to say that she “believed in this movie so much, all I wanted to do was enjoy it and not screw it up. And I’m glad I didn’t screw it up. ‘air.”
