3 men charged with serious assault at Gate Keepers Pavilion

The RCMP in Nova Scotia indicted three men for serious badault on another man two years ago in the former pavilion of the Gate Keepers biker gang in New Glasgow.

On June 7, 2016, Inverness District RCMP responded to a call after the discovery of a severely injured man in a parked van on the side of Highway 105 in Glendale.

The man was flown to hospital in critical condition.

The RCMP alleges that the man was badaulted inside the lodge, about 130 kilometers from Glendale, then hauled into the van and left on the roadside.

Three men in Nova Scotia face charges of aggravated badault, forcible confinement, conspiracy to commit an indictable offense and complicity after the fact:

  • Donald Melbourn Messenger, 48, of Broughton.
  • William Jeffrey Giles, 45, Pictou County.
  • Charles Jardine Hayman, 49, from New Glasgow.

The Northeast Nova Scotia Serious Crimes Section is continuing the investigation with the badistance of the RCMP, the New Glasgow Regional Police, the Special Forces Criminal Identification Section of the RCMP and the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia.
