George and Violet McCallister purchased the 2,477-square-foot, two-bedroom, and three-bath multi-level home in the Studio City area of ​​Los Angeles in 1973 for $ 61,000.

The interior of the house is not the same as we saw on the show ; all Brady Bunch's inner scenes were shot in a studio. Realtor Ernie Carswell told The Los Angeles Times that the house had been renovated and modernized, while the exterior still resembled its former glory.

Carswell claims that a rock-walled fireplace, paneled walls and floral wallpaper are vintage touches of what homes looked like in the '70s. The photos featured in the Times show a decorative home trapped in the time, and it still has a very strong 70s feel, filled with gold handles and floral wallpaper.

The agent says that the house attracts 30 to 50 visitors a day. Apparently, the owners are dead and their children are selling the property.

"We are preparing for an avalanche," Carswell told Tribune Media. "Emails, phone calls – we can see more than 500 calls a day."

There is a fear that a potential buyer may want to demolish the property, erasing the memory badociated with the house. Carswell insisted that they would not jump on a big offer from a developer who wants to build something new on the ground.
