The monstrous sequel crushed the public in Hall H on Saturday.
Legendary's MonsterVerse rampage continued into Hall H on Saturday morning with the release of a new trailer of Godzilla: King of Monsters .
King with Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga and Millie Bobby Brown, is following Godzilla of 2014, and follows last year Kong: Skull Island in the shared universe filled with gigantic threats to humanity. Brown, Farmiga, Thomas Middleditch and O. Shea Jackson Jr. appeared on stage with screenwriter / director Michael Doughtery to titillate the new film
"It's a childhood dream, and I I'm glad I could be part of, "Jackson told the fans, saying Farmiga said she was" dreaming of monsters all my life "before having a role in the film. Brown admitted that & # 39; She had never seen a movie Godzilla before getting the role – King is the 35th movie about the character to be done – but did a point of binge the series before filming
Farmiga plays a scientist of Monarch Sciences – the organization that had been following the activity of the monsters of King Kong – in the new film, but it's not the same group that the public could hope for. "Monarch's no longer as secretive," she said. "Their job is to preserve this. I'm playing a scientist who is pbadionate about doing it. "

As previously teased, the new movie will feature more monsters alongside Godzilla, with Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah have confirmed, but director Dougherty has teased the crowd by promising, "there could be some other surprises" in terms of who will appear on the screen. (It should be remembered, Legendary has already announced a movie King Kong / Godzilla for 2020).
Legendary had teased the trailer earlier this week with an update to Monarch Sciences' MonsterVerse in-universe site. Monster was en route to San Diego, but also revealed new information about Rodan, the mother and King Ghidorah.
Godzilla: The King of Monsters will be published in theaters on May 31, 2019.
