Niantic was recently launched with big updates, events and challenges in Pokemon Go but there is nothing more exciting for many coaches than the beginning of a new generation of Pokémon. A little over seven months after unleashing monsters from the Hoenn area in the world of Pokemon Go Niantic shared a new piece of art this week to celebrate the game's second anniversary. "
In addition to presenting the male and female game avatars traded with each other while being surrounded by Legendary Common Generation Pokémon 3, all three of Diamond's starting Pokémon and Pearl can be spotted in the picture: Chimchar (the fiery chimpanzee), Piplup (the blue penguin) and Turtwig (the turtle).
We do not know when Niantic plans to add the first Pokémon selection from the Sinnoh region to the game, but if the studio is already dropping the teasers in the early summer, it seems likely that new monsters will appear in Pokemon Go before the end of the year. But no date has yet been confirmed.

Beyond the entries of Gen 4, the new work also highlights many of new features and creatures that made their way into Pokemon Go in the last few months. We see Professor Willow conducting research, two trainers exchanging each other, and Mew in the upper right corner of the Special Search quest.
It is interesting to note that Generation 3 is still being rolled out, with new and mythical Alolan variants. Celebi is expected to arrive in the coming months. We will probably wait until the end of the year for Gen 4.
