Bringing a monotonous theme to Buick's mid-size luxury sedan, the Sport Touring features content that includes 19-inch silver painted midnight wheels, ST badging on the trunk lid, black grille and a spoiler back. The grille surrounding the front and side vents, meanwhile, are finished in the same color as the body of the car.

Coming in series with the 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 and the nine-speed automatic transmission, the Buick LaCrosse Sport 2019 Touring is priced at $ 40,295, including destination charges of $ 925. Available in five exterior colors (Quartz Red, Ebony Twilight Metallic, Metallic Quicksilver, Satin Metallic Steel, White Frost Tricoat), the ST delivers 310 horsepower out of the box.

"The ST emphasizes the importance of design, while complementing the safety, refinement and technology of our flagship sedan," said Phil Brook, vice president of marketing. "The LaCrosse illustrates what we mean by accessible luxury, offering Buick's QuietTuning performance, energetic and efficient performance and the latest in-car connectivity, all at an incredible price for customers."

Switching to the rest of the range, other LaCrosse trim levels are now available with two previously unavailable exterior colors (Carrageen Metallic and Pewter Metallic). The air ionizer is also new. From series to the future high – end, the ionizer is designed to eliminate odors and improve the quality of air in the cabin.

The Future is Buick's largest sedan in the lineup, and as expected of a conventional vehicle body, sales are on a downward spiral. From 27,582 units in 2016, last year saw the LaCrosse move 20,161 copies in the United States. The sales figures for the first six months of 2018 give an even darker picture, but unlike the Ford Motor Company, General Motors still believes in sedans.
