Chinese smartphone maker Honor has announced a new flagship device called Honor 10 GT, an upgraded version of the Honor 10 that was launched in April in China. The 10 GT honor will be launched in China on July 24 and is expected to go on sale shortly after launch.
The 10 GT honor has 8GB RAM, 6GB found on the Honor 10. Other additions include Turbo GPU and Intelligent AI Stabilization. Honor 10 will also receive the two new features. Turbo GPU promises 30% less power consumption and more than 60% processor efficiency.
Currently, the Turbo GPU feature is being tested and AIS will be available for beta testing as of July 12th. the feature will be launched for the honor 10 from July 15th and the AIS feature will be available in late July or early August.
Considering that the 10th honor will receive two of the three additions to the GT 10 honor, the newly announced device may not seem like a very big update as the only difference will be in terms of RAM. The success of GT 10 will depend on the price difference between the two devices and a major difference could deter customers.
Honor 10 GT Specifications
The Honor 10 GT runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 skinned on the top and features a 5.8 inch full HD + 2 inch IPS LCD display, 5D with a resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18: 9, which is the same as the Honor 10.
In terms of performance, It is powered by a SoC Huawei Kirin 970 Octa Core coupled with a GPU Mali-G72 MP12. In terms of memory, the device will be available in a single variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The Honor 10 has been launched with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Arriving at the camera department, the Honor 10 GT features a dual rear-facing camera including a 16MP RGB sensor and a 24MP monochrome sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, autofocus phase detection, focus of the depth and an LED flash. On the front, the camera sports a 24MP selfie camera with f / 2.0 aperture
The Honor 10 GT is powered by a 3400mAh battery with fast support and connectivity options on the # Devices include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It is equipped with a front mounted fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor
The launch of the Honor 10 GT is scheduled for July 24 in China and there is currently no information on prices and availability of the device.
