Every bad selfie, every embarrbading photo, sent to someone you hardly know, a colleague, or worse, your boss.

of a recent update affecting Samsung users. Reddit users, who have discovered the problem, say that it happened after downloading the latest update for Samsung messages.

The Samsung Galaxy S9, the S9 + and the Note 8 are all affected. The manufacturer says that it is studying the problem – but there is no confirmation that the update caused the problem.

Here's what you can do. Avoid updating Samsung messages until we know what is causing the problem. You can also access your settings and keep messages from Samsung to access your storage. Do not forget that you will not be able to send photos or videos. Head to your settings, go to apps, select "Samsung Messages", click permissions, then search for storage permission and make sure it is disabled.
