A woman accused of intentionally breaking an SUV to an elderly woman outside a restaurant Edmonton's fast is scheduled to appear in court next week.
Police arrested Donna Elder, 60 years old she allegedly drove her Toyota RAV4 in a KFC in Edmonton on Wednesday, hitting an 85-year-old woman in the process
Police arrived at the scene at 156 Street and 87 avenue and found the elderly woman, identified in court papers Friday as Katherine Triplett, lying on the floor in front of the restaurant in "serious medical distress".
The elder was charged Thursday with aggression with aggravating circumstances. The police did not say how Elder and Triplett knew each other. The 85-year-old man remains in the hospital in critical condition
Elder was placed in custody and will appear Monday for a bail hearing.
