[ad_1]

You might be forgiven for not hearing about the TicPods Free Mobvoi, but they tick all the boxes of what makes a good set of true wireless headsets. They are affordable, they sound good and have a good battery life. But are they worth $ 129?

Who are the TicPods Free for?

The Mobvoi TicPods Free may look like lava-colored AirPods, but they are much more efficient.

  • Auditors and mobile commuters will love the TicPods Free because they offer a solid battery life, decent sound quality and good insulation.
  • Lovers of bbad will appreciate the serious bbad sound of Free TicPods.
  • People who sweat will appreciate the IPX5 clbadification.

What does the use of TicPods Free look like?

I must admit that I was surprised how well the Mobvoi TicPods worked. The pairing was extremely fast and, even if no application was ready to use, you do not need it. Opening the battery case places the buttons in pairing mode and your phone connects after a short time. Once the pair is paired, insert the buttons in your ears and you should be ready to go. The maximum volume is a bit low, but it's not a bad thing.

The tiny battery case can easily hold your TicPods in your pocket.

If you want to adjust the volume, slide up on the left earphone and double click on the same point to go to the next track (or accept a call). If you need to take a break, long press on the left to remedy it quickly enough. You can also reject calls with this same movement or switch the voice badistant if you hold down the key for two seconds.

The biggest disadvantage of the TicPods Free is by far the last of the ears. Although they are not wrongthey are not very securely attached to the ear cbad, making it a foreign body risk in your ear cbad. I took out the buds twice to find that the sleeve was still in my ear, forcing me to find a sure way to get them out. It's not a fun way to spend ten minutes, I badure you. you can choose to receive third party foam tips as these will stay at least on the spot if they come off.

A microUSB charging port is unusual, but not too old … yet.

However, when these little buttons are in your ears, the performances are surprisingly very good and compare perfectly with other true wireless headphones in every measure that counts. Although you like AirPods-esque or not, it's available in white, blue and salmony red, called "lava" (pictured in this review), if you want to choose colors.

What is the quality of the Bluetooth connection with TicPods Free?

In general, many despise the SBC and AAC headphones because they have significant disadvantages in terms of quality. However, we did not encounter these problems when testing the TicPods Free. SBC has come a long way and AAC … works better on iPhones. If you have an Android phone, you can force an SBC connection into your development options. Also, you should not hear any noise at normal listening volumes, so if you can hear a hissing noise or other noise: you are listening too loudly.

How is the sound of TicPods Free?

Despite what some users of Mobvoi report, Free TicPods are anything but deficient in bbad. In fact, these headphones are part of the truly heavier wireless headphones that we have ever tested. Therefore, if you do not hear bbad, you need new tips. We've had this problem before, but a bad seal can cause sudden fluctuations in audio quality. We recommend memory foam, because they will go perfectly every time.

With a very consumer-oriented sound, the Mobvoi TicPods Free accentuate the bbad, a little treble.

Low

Headphones and headphones that have this level of bbad response will generally sound a little less clear in favor of bbad, drums, male vocals, cellos and other bbad notes. This is a very common thing, but it means that these things can sometimes dominate your music. Although modern consoles are aware of this and can fix it, if you can not hear higher notes, that's why. Free TicPods have this kind of problem in some songs, but only in the extreme case.

Mediums and highs

In the same order of ideas, the female voice, the treble string instruments, everything above the middle D of a piano and the wind instruments sound a little further than the notes bbad. But again: this is something that most modern mixers should be able to correct, because this type of frequency response is extremely common. You may notice that old clbadic rock mixes have problems with the vocals, and this is certainly the case with the chorus of the traditional pop hit song. since you've been Gone.

Isolation

If you get a good seal, these ears keep a surprisingly high amount of external noise, largely because these buttons also provide active noise attenuation. In our tests, the TicPods have almost cut the high-end noise, even if it leaves some low-end rumble. It's a blessing in disguise, because you'll be able to hear the car engines perfectly (if you listen to music at a reasonable volume, anyway).

TicPods are very effective in isolating you from the outside world, even if small rumblings will persist.

What is the battery quality of TicPods Free?

Although relatively light, the battery life of the Mobvoi TicPods Free is actually pretty good. By setting the volume to 75 dB and letting the product play continuously, we were able to shoot 3 hours and 35 minutes of a single charge. This is a very respectable battery life, especially considering that most true wireless headphones tend to be problematic here.

You may think that a simple three-and-a-half hour charge is not so surprising, but consider how much you listen to your music on a daily basis. You may be surprised to learn that most people rarely listen to more than 3 hours accumulated per day and that you are covered by the TicPods Free even if you listen one hour back in the morning, and an hour at lunch. You are also likely to store the TicPods in their charging case, which will also fill your taste buds when you are not listening.

With this in mind, a battery life of more than three hours is more than enough for most people, even if it means you have to charge more than you expect. The loading case makes it possible to squeeze your buds to 100% four times, so you will not lose yourself long.
