Today, he said, "If there is one thing that can help heal and fill that place in your heart, it's a baby and he's a special baby, so that's was, in addition to lack of sleep, it was a really nice process to be able to go through.

"There is an advantage to being so busy in a certain way. Your days go very slowly, because they are just a lot of things and the kids and that kind of emotional tension are still there but then the months go by.

"I think any parent can relate to that.

"It's amazing, it's been six months since we lost Emmy and at the same time, seven weeks already for Easton and that is, we're seeing the way forward a bit, we have to keep going and trying to stay positive.

"It is not easy, I do not think it becomes much easier," he said, adding that his other children were still talking about their late sister "all the time".

Miller and Beck have another son together, a three-year-old boy named Nash.

They also have custody of his five-year-old son, Sam, born in 2013 and whose mother is Miller's ex-girlfriend, Anna McKenna.

The skier also has a 10-year-old daughter, Neesyn, accompanied by Chanel Johnson, another ex-girlfriend.

Sam and Nash live with him and Beck in the Coto de Caza home where Emmy lived.

"The kids talk about it all the time, which I think is really good but, obviously, difficult too, I do not mind.

"She is everywhere in our house, you notice it. You feel the loss, but it's still part of our family, "he said.

Easton was born at home and remained nameless for three weeks, his father revealed.

"We've had all kinds of criticisms about it, but it's like that.

& # 39; If you go to the hospital, you can not leave [without a name] but giving birth at home allows you to do what you want so that all children go to school and that everyone is wondering "what's his name?" and we were like, "We do not really have one, we just call it little brother."

"It took us three weeks, but I think that once we got to know it, it was very clear," he said.

It is named after the city of Easton in New Hampshire, where Miller grew up.

His mother is not a fan of his two first names, Rek, but allowed Miller to "move on", he said.

Since the death of their daughter, Miller and Beck have campaigned with pbadion to increase awareness of water safety.

One of the things that he most wants to stimulate is the amount of information provided to parents by pediatricians about how quickly young children can drown.

"We wanted to try to influence the change. Not all statistics will likely reflect the relevant data for years, but we have clearly noticed the awareness.

"My call for action was always that people go to their pediatricians, that was the missing link.

"I had never heard of it from a pediatrician and I had gone in so many ways … It was a bit ridiculous that number one had never been mentioned.

"Just talk about it," he said.

Beck had previously said that she thought Emmy was watching Easton as a guardian angel.

When she shared photographs of her birth in October, she included one of an ultrasound that would have revealed the presence of Emmy.
