Many of the superheroes and favorite characters of the Marvel film universe perished when Thanos snapped his fingers while wearing this powerful Infinity glove, but these deaths are not permanent. Avengers 4 will solve all this, and we have already seen a lot of evidence that a lot of dead characters will be back in the next movie. Some of these characters may appear in different flashbacks or timelines, but it is likely that all our favorite heroes, especially those that will appear in future Marvel movies, will be resurrected. We now have evidence that two other supporting characters survived the crisis and will be seen again in the Marvel Universe. And one of them could hold the key to victory over Thanos, according to an incredible theory of fans.
As Comic reports, Dr. Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgård) and Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) both survived War of Infinity. This does not mean that one of them will appear in Avengers 4 – they are not credited for the film at the moment – but it shows that they may have a future in the next tales of Marvel.
The revelation comes from Brandon T. Snider, author of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War: The Cosmic Quest, Volume 2: The Consequences, who posted pictures of the covers:

At the same time, eagle-eyed Redditor has released on Reddit an awesome and well-documented fan theory that all Marvel fans should read. According to this theory, Selvig may have already been aware of the situation long before this happened and he might be aware of the type of multi-wagon and multi-time movement required to repair the damage. It's because he's been exposed to Mind Stone in New York and all the madness that comes with it.
Redditor glanced at the paintings of film scientists and explained all that Selvig had understood about the realities of his world. That does not mean that Selvig will help the Avengers beat Thanos in Avengers 4but it shows how brilliant these films are and how long it takes to plan them. Marvel left all these crumbs in the early stages of the MCU, announcing events that would not take place for several years and teasing what will happen with our favorite characters. Fortunately, Marvel films were a resounding box office success, allowing these predictions to come true in this first decade of Marvel films.
