BEFORE CHRIST. Ferries says two crossings aboard the Spirit of British Columbia ferry were canceled between Tsawwbaden and Swartz Bay in Victoria due to mechanical problems.
The departure of Tsawwbaden at 7 am and that of Swartz Bay at 9 am are canceled on this boat due to a problem with its fuel pumps.
BEFORE CHRIST. Ferries says specialized technicians have been asked to solve the problem. The cause was attributed to a faulty electrical connection that damaged some components.
Another ferry, the Coastal Celebration, continues to provide regular service on this route.
