Five people were injured, two seriously, after an accident in Wellington County.
This happened Monday around 8 am on Concession Road 6 north, south of Highway 89 and east of Mount Forest.
Police said the initial reports indicated that an SUV and a minivan had been involved in a head-on collision.
According to a press release, two occupants of the van, a 45-year-old driver and a 69-year-old pbadenger were taken to a trauma center in critical condition.
Three occupants of the sport utility vehicle, a 29-year-old woman and two two-year-old children, were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
They were released soon after.
The road was closed for several hours while the county's Wellington Provincial Police were investigating his case.
There was no word on whether charges would be laid in the incident.
