PSV Eindhoven 1-2 FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona took first place in Group B after beating PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in the Netherlands.

It was a first period that Barca would have counted lucky not to be late, the PSV having hit the wood on three different occasions.

The visitors, meanwhile, were stifled with each attempt in the last third while Lionel Messi was surprisingly kept silent.

Messi finally opened the scoring at the hour of play as he made his way into the box before firing for the near post.

Argentina then appealed to a supplier in the 70th minute to name Gerard Pique, who dropped the ball in the opposite corner.

Luuk de Jong scored a goal for the hosts late, but the Catalan giants held up for three points.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Inter Milan

The hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of Tottenham Hotspur were significantly strengthened after the win against Inter Milan at Wembley Stadium.

The Spurs came into the match to defeat their Italian opponents, while Inter needed only one point to qualify for the last game.

However, the first half did not live up to expectations, the only real opening coming from Harry Winks, who hit the crossbar with a curling effort.

The home team's only goal came after 80 minutes when Christian Eriksen struck from the crossbar after a close call.

Thanks to this victory, the Spurs are in second place in the group, while Inter is now in third place. Both sides have seven points.

The Premier League will face Barca in their last group game and PSV, host of Inter, on the final day.
