A flight from Chicago to Toronto turns around because of "disruptive passengers"

An American Airline flight to Toronto returned to Chicago shortly after takeoff because of what the airline describes as "two disruptive pbadengers".

According to several media reports, a couple quarreled and pbadengers claimed on Twitter that the argument had become physical.

American Airlines flight 3284 departed Chicago O'Hare at 5:50 pm ET on Wednesday evening and we returned to O'Hare at 18:48.

The flight has since departed Chicago and landed at Toronto Pearson Airport.

"The flight returned to Chicago last night because of two disruptive pbadengers. The pbadengers were removed and the flight then took off, "said American Airlines.

The couple was not on the rescheduled flight, said American Airlines.

CityNews contacted the Chicago police for details of the disruption, but did not get an answer.
