Drake has been engaged in a legal battle with publishing house Hebrew Hustle Inc. since 2014. This company had initially filed a lawsuit against Drake for using a sample of spoken word of jazz artist Jimmy Smith in the newspaper. Nothing was the same title "Pound Cake / Paris Morton Music 2". A judge ruled in favor of Drake last year, saying the sample had been used fairly.

The prosecution is tried by a New York court on December 3rd. Hebrew Hustle cited Drake as a prosecution witness; he will testify in person before a jury.
According to a new record, obtained by Pitchfork, Drake's team claims that Hebrew Hustle used Drake's name and image on his website without permission for his "commercial advantage." As a result, Drake and his lawyers claim damages for "the value of [Drake]His name and image "(that is, money made by allegedly using the image of Drake), as well as" the mental distress caused by the attack and misappropriation of his name and his picture ".
