FORT ST. JOHN, BC – A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck about 16 kilometers southwest of Fort St. John, BC
Earthquakes Canada says it was felt in Fort St. John, Taylor, Chetwynd and Dawson Creek.
He says that there are no reports of damage.
Residents say on social media that they felt the tremors around 5:30 pm.
A Twitter user in Fort St. John said he felt that "his whole building was shaking as if the top floor was going to fall"
The Taylor Public Library says on Twitter that the staff "felt a noise".
