The United States, Russia and China have all landed spacecraft on the moon. Soon, humanity will add a fourth country to this list: Israel.
On February 21 (subject to change), the launch of SpaceIL is planned. Beresheet, an unmanned spacecraft aboard an American SpaceX rocket. It will be the first non-governmental spacecraft to land on the moon. When Beresheet launches into orbit, so does a new era of pride and wonder for the Jewish people and the world.

The history of SpaceIL is one that inspires. Meaningful Israeli education is organic, exciting and resonant. It focuses on people and their interests. It is also global, placing Israel in a context of universal human narratives. It is also necessary that great stories and events inspire and invite this generation to see themselves as part of the ongoing life of the earth and the people of Israel.
This realization, which has lasted eight years, draws on our imagination, our curiosity and our wonder, and badociates STEM with Israel in a monumental way. And all this in the context of a historic quest to reach the stars.
