In late January, Google announced that Gmail for iOS would begin publishing its "Material Design" update in the coming weeks. We now see it available in Canada for ourselves and other users.
<img style = "display: block;" margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; " title = "gmail_ios_material_design.jpg" src = "https://cdn.iphoneincanada.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/gmail_ios_material_design.jpg" alt = "Gmail ios Hardware Design” width=”1000″ height=”644″ border=”0″/>
The new design appeared after the installation of today's iOS Gmail update. When launching Gmail, a pop-up message titled "Welcome – your favorite email has a new look", allows you to select a default message, Comfortable or Compact.
Once activated, the new design makes better use of the iPhone XS Max screen, as e-mails are visible from one corner to another, especially in the 'ears' of the 'screen' of the screen . There is a lot more white space, new fonts, and attachments are placed in the front and center, allowing them to be opened with one click.
To change accounts, just tap your profile in the upper right corner of the screen and select one of the other below.
Click here to download Gmail for iOS in the App Store. Do you see the new update of Material Design?
