A 23-year-old man from Surrey arrested for the murder of an 87-year-old Vancouver man

Vancouver police arrested a 23-year-old man linked to the murder of 87-year-old Elizabeth Poulin.

The suspect was arrested on November 26 in Surrey and is currently in custody. His identity can not be revealed until the charges have been approved by the Crown Attorney.

According to VPD, a family member discovered that Poulin died in her apartment around 8:00 am on November 24th. Poulin is the 15th victim of a homicide in Vancouver in 2018.

Homicide investigators continue the investigation and use to establish a motive.
