A dead man and a woman seriously injured after a collision in Mississauga

A man is dead and a woman has life-threatening injuries after a collision between a car and a bus in Mississauga early Friday morning.

Shortly after midnight, police in the Peel area responded to a serious accident in the Tomken Road area. and Bloor St. The driver, a 70-year-old man, died on the scene. His pbadenger, a 61-year-old woman, was rushed to the hospital.

Two other adults were brought to the hospital with minor injuries, said Peel paramedics.

The Office of Major Collisions investigates the scene. Bloor Street is closed between Tomken Road. and Anneliese Ave.
