A 32-year-old man died after a shootout Monday morning in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police said the call was launched around 11:20 am for a shootout at a parking lot on Cawthra Road. and Dundas St. E.
The man was transported to a trauma center in serious condition, but died.
A suspect was seen fleeing east to Dundas, police said. A burnt vehicle was found nearby on Tomken Road. and the police think this is related to the murder.
The nearby Mini Skool and Maya Bee daycare centers were temporarily put on hold in relation to the shoot.
