Toronto police issued a public safety alert when a man found a razor blade in a chocolate bar that he had bought at a Dollarama in the city's west end.

According to officers, a man bought a package of Twix mini-bars Saturday at the store located at 30 Weston Rd.

Police said that when the 41-year-old man had unpacked the bar, he had found a razor blade on the inside.

No injuries have been reported.
