Toronto police are looking for a suspect and calling witnesses after a 25-year-old man was shot and killed in North York during the night.

Dét.-Sgt. According to Mike Carbone, officers were called at 415 Driftwood Avenue, near Jane Street, at approximately 3:30 am on Sunday morning as a result of gunshots.

Carbon says that it seems like the shot was targeted but they have no motive yet. He says that Hirani was not from the neighborhood and we do not know what he was doing there.

Police call on other witnesses who were in the area at the time of the shooting and would like to talk to one of the males who was with the deceased before being shot to come later.
