The PGA Tour travels to West Virginia this week for a military tribute to the Greenbrier; Here's what you need to know, and who to support.
Xander Schauffele scored his last hole to win the Greenbrier last year, and returns to The Old White TPC to defend his title this week at the newly named event.
The field is absent from one of the current Worlds. top 10, but contains a host of former champions in Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson.
Mickelson returns for his first start since the ball's incident at the US Open, while Bubba Watson targets his fourth win of the year after winning the title of World Traveler Champion at his last departure.

Tips from Paris: Greenbrier
Tony Finau
Returns to action after a T5 at the US Open, and his re previous results (T7-T17) at this event indicates that Finau has a good chance of doing well this week. He went 5-MC-T13-T57-T21-T10 in his last six starts, and ranks 15th on average, 19th in SG: Approach The Green, and 18th in SG: Tee to Green.
Bubba Watson
The only three-time winner on the PGA Tour this year is a new victory for the Travelers, but his expectations are still high: " My expectation is always to win," he said. That being said, has not yet reached a top 10 here. Ranks 3rd SG: Off the tee, 7th for GIR and 19th for Scoring Average (Real).
Phil Mickelson
Mickelson was T20 here last year, the best of four appearances at Greenbrier. Despite a T48 at the US Open filled with incidents, Mickelson finished among the top 15 and has won a victory in Mexico in his last 12 starts. Ranks 4th Middle Biridia, 17th Middle, 2nd SG: Putting and 10th SG: The Green Approach.
Webb Simpson
The 2018 Player Champion missed the cup on his last start but was T10 at the US Open before that, and has a pretty impressive record here – T14 l '. last year and three other top 10 in his last six starts. Ranks 8th for SG: Putting, 6th for Scoring Average and 2nd for Scrambling.
Xander Schauffele
The defending champion has a strange mix of results in his last five starts, which includes three missed cuts, a T6 at the US Open and a T2 at The Players. No real statistics, but we certainly do not exclude the defending champion.
Joaquin Niemann
The rookie has barely gone pro and has already recorded three top 10s in his last seven starts on the PGA Tour. Completed T17 at National Quicken Loans last week, and makes it's place this week for the first time. No statistics currently available.
Brian Gay
Gay does not have a very good record here, but he has four top 20 in his last five starts, including a T8 at Quicken National Loans last week. Ranking 12th for driving precision, 8th for the average and 25th for the average (real).
Brian Harman
First time in four years here, when he missed the cut. This year alone Harman had five top 10 finishes, including a T6 in the Travelers Championship. He went T6-T36-T14 in his last three starts and ranked 7th SG: Putting, 14th Birdie average and 19th for driving precision.
Russell Henley
Best result of T6 in 2018 at Travelers last week, which followed a T25 at the US Open (where he held the lead in the early stages of turmoil). Greenbrier's 5th place in his last two appearances gives him a good advantage. Rank 10th Accuracy of driving and 22nd in GIR.
Ryan Moore
Start at the Greenbrier tournament. Entered after a MC at The Travelers, but before that had gone T13-T30-MC-T7-T16-T25-T5. Ranks 4th for driving precision, 16th for SG: T at green, 22nd for SG: Total and 25th for average.
Anirban Lahiri
Tournament debut for Lahiri, who has had a series of positive results in recent weeks. Lahiri was ranked first at the Quicken Loans National Tour for SG: Putting last week, and finished T13-T9 in his last two starts on tour.
