We did not even see the trailer or know anything Avengers 4, but it is safe to badume one thing: Chris Evans will no longer be Captain America.

A few weeks ago, the 37-year-old released a moving tweet suggesting that his days as a super-soldier were over after the filming of the next movie was over. Avengers movies.

Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was at least a day full of emotion. Playing this role in the past 8 years has been an honor. To all who are in front of the camera, behind the camera and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.

Although it's a sad day when Evans finally hangs up this iconic shield on the screen, it looks like it's not the last we've seen from Captain America as a hero.

Frank Grillo, who played Crossbones in both The Winter Soldier and Civil war, has referred to rumors that Cap could be played by someone else in the future – and it will not be just another actor baduming the role from Steve Rogers.

Interview with Larry King, Grillo, who was promoting his new series Fightworld, said a black or female actor could very well be the next Captain America:

I do not know, but there have been rumors that [the next] Captain America could be African-American.

It could be a woman. You know? So they search.

So who could it be? Would it be anyone from the current cast of Marvel?

In comics, Sam Wilson / The Falcon played the role of Captain America. There is also a character known as Miss America, who is a Latin American LGBT + woman with super powers.

And there is also a new captain on the scene in the form of Captain Marvel, so you are spoiled for choice.

That being said, it remains to be seen what will happen to Cape and the rest of the Avengers after their final clash with Thanos.

Grillo was also asked if he was surprised that Evans was moving away from the role he gave this very honest answer:

No no. It has been going on and these guys are getting a little old.

I like it. It's a good guy. This is a Boston kid. He is a charming man.

Become a little old? At 37? Sorry, we do not buy that at all.
