All nominees of the 2018 Game Awards

The nominees have been announced for The Game Awards of 2018. This year, God of War of Sony Santa Monica and Red Dead Redemption 2 of Rockstar Games are the two favorites, blocked side by side with eight nominations each including the game title of the year. Other GOTY candidates include Assbadin's Creed Odyssey, Celeste, Spider-Man and Monster Hunter: World.

Fortnite has won four nominations, including Best Current Play and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Destiny 2: Forsaken and Detroit: Becoming Human, each of which has received three nominations. Fans can vote for their favorites on the official website. The awards will be broadcast live on Thursday, December 6 at 9:00 pm ET / 6:00 pm ET.

As always, the award-winning show will feature world premieres and exclusive musical performances. You can buy tickets here, starting at $ 70. The show is again organized and hosted by veteran of the gaming industry, Geoff Keighley. Keighley will also produce a limited podcast series in partnership with Spotify to take a closer look at the best gaming music of the year.
