An 18-year-old man accused in the Mississauga accident who killed his mother and son gets a bond

An 18-year-old man charged with the murder of a mother in Mississauga and his young son was released on bail Wednesday.

Evan Campbell, of Orillia, appeared in Brampton court. He was charged with two counts of criminal negligence causing death and one count of criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

Shortly after 2 am, on November 1, a gray Hyundai was heading north on Mavis Road, when she collided with a black Nissan heading east on Burnhamthorpe Road.

Khushbu Arora, 31, and her two-year-old son of Mississauga, Prakrit Dogra, died as a result of their injuries.

Her husband, Sanket Dogra, 33, was injured and stays in the hospital.

Campbell was released on bail of $ 40,000. According to his conditions of release on bail, he must live with his parents, can not drive a motor vehicle, must respect a curfew and can have no contact with Sanket Dogra.

Slim with blond hair and wearing a burgundy sweatshirt, Campbell appeared in the prisoner's box with handcuffs.

On January 14, he was sentenced to return to court.
