Apple stopped Monday signing the code for iOS 12 after the release of iOS 12.0.1, which means that users running the latest update of the sub-point can no longer demote to the previous version of the system. exploitation.

The latest update has been released in part to address Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity issues introduced with iOS 12 in September. Apple regularly stops signing code to prevent users from installing older versions of iOS after the release of a new operating system. This protects users against new threats and ensures that devices run the latest software.
The code signing halt occurs just hours after Apple has submitted to the evaluation of developers and public testers the fifth beta release of iOS 12.1, before its launch planned in the coming weeks. When available, the update will provide support for Group FaceTime and more than 70 new emoji characters.
