Last week, Grande canceled her engagement with comedian Pete Davidson, ending her romantic relationship with the "Saturday Night Live" star a few months after her meeting.

A source told Fox News that the breakup was "imminent" after Miller's death.

"The relationship was difficult and Mac's death hit her. [Grande] very difficult because she tried to help her cope with her addiction – and the way she had personally badaulted her through social media was hard to handle, "said the source close to Grande.

Grande said last week that she was considering taking a break from social media and described Davidson's separation as "very sad."
