Anthony and Joe Russo filmed the two blockbusters consecutively, and will put the finishing touches on Avengers 4 here its release early next year.
After Infinity War has left the fans stunned and broke several discs at the box office, it seems that the best is yet to come.
Joe says Deadline: "You know, we are very proud of [Avengers 4]."
"I think that finally Avengers 4 might be our best work, Wonder, I think we grew up with every film we made there."
"We grew up with the characters. We grew up with the cast. As filmmakers, we are very happy and very excited with the film.
"I feel like with Avengers 4, because it's been done before there's an answer to Avengers 3, it's really pure in this respect. The storytelling is very pure.
"It's without any outside noise."
The events of the next film remain a mystery, but the Infinite War has ended with 50% of the entire humanity killed – So we're definitely going to join our heroes in a dramatic state.
Even the movie's title remains a mystery, with Marvel boss Kevin Feige, who recently said, "This will be after Captain Marvel's teaser, probably announcing this title
"It will be towards the end of the year with however that we launch this film."
He also promised that Avengers 4 will bring a definitive end to the current phase of Marvel's films.
"We are a decade in. In comics, some of these heroes have five, six, seven decades, so I hope they will continue for a long time," he told Toronto's Sun.
