Ellie Black of Halifax was fifth in the final phase of the beam at the end of the World Gymnastics Championship, which ended Saturday in Doha, Qatar.
The 23-year-old posted a total score of 13.033 after a solid performance on the beam.
Canadian teammate Ana Padurariu won the silver medal, giving Canada its second medal in as many days at the competition.
The 16-year-old from Whitby, Ont., Scored 14,100 points during his training, which was scored with a difficulty score of 6,000. Padurariu, qualified in fifth place for the final of the beam, received 8,100 for the execution.
Liu Tingting of China won the gold medal with 14.533 points while American Simone Biles won the bronze with 13.600.
"It's amazing, I always try to believe it now," Padurariu said in a press release. "It paid off. These weeks have been roller coasters, but it ended on a high note and that's all I can ask.
Shallon Olsen of Surrey, BC won a silver medal on vault Friday.
Later on Saturday, Brooklyn Moors of Cambridge, Ont., Scored 13.066 points in the final for eighth place.
Biles won the gold medal with a score of 14.933 – his 20th World Championship medal – Morgan Hurd of the United States won the silver medal and the Japanese Mai Murakami completed the podium.
Canada finished the world championships with two silver records and a fourth place in the team competition.
