No matter what is on the menu, the result is the same: food brings communities together

The CBC Stampede Group found its inspiration in the community by stopping at three Stampede events on Sunday

. Looking for something a little different has made their way to the 3rd Annual Filipino Stampede Breakfast off International Avenue.

Guests enjoyed a traditional Filipino breakfast of fried rice, sweet and spicy sausages, hot dogs and sweet rolls.

The large crowd was entertained by live performances as well as by a dash of mascot dancing where Ceebee – the mascot of CBC Kids – broke out

The community spirit was the motor of the riverbend crepe. (1965-19007) The 20th annual event attracted Stampeders from across the city with a variety of activities including live music, pony rides, wagon rides, bouncy castles, a wall climbing and a fire.

The owners were able to spoil their dogs for the day by treating them to their own hot rolls.

The day was dedicated to many of the local emergency shelters in the community.

The dogs were curious but did not know what to do with Ceebee, no matter how much they sniffed.
