Breaking Bad movie: Bryan Cranston 'unsure whether we'll even see Walter White'

Hey is the one who knocks – goal Bryan Cranston is not sure if his hit character Walter White will feature in the upcoming Breaking Bad movie.

The US hit drama series, which officially ended in 2013, saw Cranston take over the role of high-school chemistry teacher White as he battled cancer terminal.

In a desperate bid to earn as much money as possible, White, later known as Heisenberg, befriended Jesse Pinkman to make and sell blue meth.

A film, supposedly titled Greenbrier, is said to be in the works. Details are unclear, but it is expected to be set at an undisclosed point in the Breaking Bad Timeline.

Cranston has not heard how he has not read the script for film.

Speaking on the Dan Patrick Show, he said: "There is a movie of Breaking bad.

"I have not gotten the script, I have not read the script. There's the question of whether or not we'll see Walter White in this movie. Think about that one. "

But, he did not add that he would be open to reprising his role as iconic character.

The 62-year-old said: "I would, absolutely [be in it]. It's Vince Gilligan. If Vince Gilligan asked me to do it, sure, absolutely.

"He's a genius. It 's a great story, and there' s a lot of people who felt that they were interested in some of these stories that were left open.

"This idea, from what I was told, is a couple of things that have not been completed."

It is yet to be expected that the two-hour production, including Cranston and co-star Aaron Paul who played Pinkman.

Executive producers of prequel show Better Call Saul are also said to be attached to the project, which will be reported to follow the escape of a kidnapped man.

Better Call Saul's fourth season was unveiled earlier this year, meeting with the Breaking Bad and welcoming Jimmy McGill's alias Saul Goodman.

Bob Odenkirk has already been revealed to the audience for the first time.
