Canada Soccer has announced its composition for the upcoming Men's Concacaf Under-20 Championship and five selected players are currently on the MLS team.

Michael Baldisimo and Theo Bair (Whitecaps of Vancouver), Mathieu Choiniere (Montreal Impact), Julian Dunn (Toronto FC) and Adonijah Reid (FC Dallas) will join the U-20 national team of their country next month in Bradenton in Florida with a spot in the FIFA U-20 World Cup next year.
"This is an opportunity for our young players to show their talent and become the Canadian jersey. So it's a chance for us to see more players and see how they are doing at the international level, "said Andrew Olivieri, EXCEL of Canada Soccer, Director of the U-20 program in a statement. "There is also an opportunity for some returning players to badume a greater leadership role and play an important role in this U-20 cycle."
Choiniere, 19, made her first call with the senior national team in October, joining head coach John Herdman for the Concacaf League of Nations qualifiers. He has also made four appearances for the Impact this season as a substitute.
Canada will begin the 35 nations tournament against Dominica on November 2, the first of five games in nine days. The winners of each of the six groups after the round robin will qualify for the qualifying phase and will compete for four spots at next year's U-20 World Cup in Poland.
