Canada's emergency alert system will send a test on Wednesday
The alert will be heard on the radio, on television, or your phone could send you a message at 13:55.
The test will probably last about 50 seconds, but it could last up to two minutes in the event of a real emergency.
Officials say that all mobile phones are not compatible with the test system and recommend that you check with your service provider.
This is only the second time that the emergency alert system is tested.
The previous test took place last May.
During this test, all cell phones in Ontario were not alerted, while the problems were more prevalent in Quebec.
