I know I'm not the only one to be a little burned by the Assbadin's Creed series over the years. After the Black Flag and a series of annual and repetitive releases, my interest has diminished. But Ubisoft has attracted my attention again with its 2018 E3 trailer for Assbadin's Creed: Odyssey, which featured a beautiful portrayal of ancient Greece.
I attended E3 2018 with Assbadin's Creed: Odyssey. everything that Ubisoft has promised and more, but his fight needs a lot of polish not to hinder my enjoyment of the rest.

What is Assbadin's Creed: Odyssey?
The last entry of the Assbadin's Creed The franchise takes place in ancient Greece and gives players the choice between two protagonists: Alexios and Kbadandra. Whichever character you choose is a descendant of Leonidas and has inherited his spear, reforged in a sword. With this, they also inherited his legacy, and the choices that the player makes as a character will affect the game, leading to one of the multiple endings.
How is it different from the old Assbadin's Creed games? Creed: Odyssey offers many staples that we are used to in the series. Naval combat is back, even if the total ocean area you are exploring is smaller than, for example, the black flag (you are in the Mediterranean, people). The game features trees of skills similar to Origins, so you will need talent in some fighting styles like stealth badbadinations so that they have the efficiency you expect from other games. On the bright side, this allows you a degree of personalization and RPG progression that is good.
You always explore the world, travel to different places, meet characters, and complete missions that require a mix of stealth and combat. The most notable difference is the way conversations work. The dialogue trees are present for the first time in Assbadin's Creed: Odyssey. During the time that I spent with the game, some of my choices affected the way I was able to approach certain quests (opt for a coordinated stealth attack or a pure and simple battle) . I've also met a character I could love; and yes, deliciously, I was able to seduce the Kyra resistance leader by playing as Kbadandra
How is the world?
Although my demo is limited to two island regions, I had a wonderful time climbing, climbing and jumping across the beautiful world of ancient Greece. The game looks amazing visually, especially on the Xbox One X. If I had not been in a limited time demo frame, I would have probably spent my time wandering the islands, watching the foliage and listen to the conversations. The appearance and sheer feel (coupled with touches like my boat crew singing sailing songs in Greek) made me aspire to an educational travel mode like Origins had. Unfortunately, the representative of Ubisoft at the demo was unable to confirm or deny if this would appear.
I was glad that I finally decided to move on because the other culmination of Assbadin's Creed: Odyssey is his characters. I particularly enjoyed Kbadandra, the protagonist, who refreshingly transcends a strange trend in many AAA games with such heroines where these women are rarely playful or funny. Kbadandra jokes, teases and flirts with men and women, and everything flows and feels as natural as joking with friends. The best moment was when she met Sokrates, who engaged her in a dialogue that recalls her ethical dilemmas of the Republic before turning it into a quest. If the man is going to be executed wrongly, as Kbadandra says, then should she release him?
What does fighting look like?
For all those I've touted Odyssey up here, the fight was by far the worst of the systems. the game. Without talent in basic skills like stealthy death, I felt paralyzed in my ability to move and fight. Once I had put points in those skills, things improved, but the basic combat system was painfully awkward. I could swing my blade for different types of attacks, and I could dodge the jet. Aiming was atrocious, however, and it was difficult to keep Kbadandra focused on one opponent at a time or even hit them. There were special attacks, but since I was just struggling to get a shot at the good guy (and looking at him through my own men), it was just not nice
a lot of ills, and I think that once the points are placed in skill trees, it will also improve things. But most of the time, I had the impression that Assbadin's Creed: Odyssey had, after the rest of the series, escaped the "murderer" sensation of older games. You can still put skill points in the killer abilities, but if a good chunk of the game depends on big armies fighting each other, that might be enough to lose my interest
Assbadin & # Creed Odyssey is scheduled for launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 5, 2018. It will cost $ 59.99
