The City of Regina is looking for ways to improve the streets of the city. The Council requested that the report on the renewal of the road be discussed in the budget of 2019.

At the meeting of Monday evening, the councilors heard residents support a plan for redistribution of funding of the residential rehabilitation program [19659003]. It was distributed differently: 10% for good quality roads, 45% for roads in "good condition" and 45% for roads in bad condition.

Councilor Barbara Young also proposed that roads be given priority. Michael Fougere added that the federal government and the federal and provincial governments would need funds dedicated to road infrastructure.
