Sidney Crosby has no intention of letting the youngest stars in the game overtake him for the moment.

"I go every night to try to create things and create great plays when they are needed. I am no different from (McDavid) as far as I understand my responsibility and want to be at my best. "
And his second marker was definitely a big game.
The Penguins captain controlled the puck in the direction of the Oilers Zone. Ryan Strome was shaken once in the corner before losing him again. He headed for the net and pulled the backhand on Cam Talbot in two minutes and 48 seconds. left in the extra frame.
Despite all the hype between two of the brightest stars of the game, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Sullivan said Crosby had just lowered his head and done the job.
"He's not really involved in a lot of scenarios from one game to another, no matter who we play," he said.
"He's just a very good player trying to be the best he can be. I thought that he had a good game, he scored two goals. The goal of extra time is one of the best goals I have ever seen. "
Jamie Oleksiak and Patric Hornqvist also scored two goals for the Penguins (4-1-2), who have won two straight.

"I think we're going in the right direction with respect to our game. We're starting to receive contributions from other guys throughout the lineup. I think we're making one more mistake by taking this step to the next level. "
Matt Murray backed the Penguins to victory with 41 saves, while his counterpart Talbot threw 25 shots into the loss.
The Penguins started the scoring after 11 minutes of power play as Crosby brought home a shot by Kris Letang that was flying far ahead of Talbot. It was Crosby's first goal in seven games, the longest he had spent scoreless to start the season in his 14-year career.
Edmonton tied the game just over a minute into the second period, when Draisaitl picked up a loose puck in the slot and beat Murray off a wrist shot.
